Alright Portly Gentlemen, If you read the last Blog then you know I spoke about shoes in vague detail.  Well, Today is Friday, January 26, 2018 so most of us are deep in the heart of winter. Which means... you got to have a clean sock game DOGGG... in my (Tommy from Martin Voice.)  We're going to take a look at a few Sock Rules to keep in mind for men with thick ankles, thick calf, or plain ole' cankles.  Once again three quick rules and some brands to keep in mind.  I'm going to try to keep this blog a lot shorter that the last week.

Rule #1
All Sock are not created equal! Stance socks may be one of the most popular sock brands out right now.  With that being said picture socks example Stance legend collection (see picture to the right) Should not be worn if they look like this (see picture under first picture.) Simple enough lets move on.

Rule #2
Socks with designs are your friend. Where big guys like us, shouldn't really where socks that have faces on them.  We can rock socks that have designs on them. A good brand at a great price is Dillard's Roundtree & Yorke. They supply all types of different patterns and designs that go especially well with dress slacks or jeans.

Rule #3
One phrase, four words.... "You Got to Coordinate."  It is a' okay not to match your socks with your outfit. Matchy ... matchy as I like to call it, is not always a good thing; yes I know matchy is not a word. The point is your socks are a great opportunity to add an accent color to your day. If you primarily have dark suits, Black, Navy, or Charcoal's in your wardrobe. You can lighten' things up with pastel color socks, yellow, green, light blue or even pink. This can make a big difference in how the whole outfit looks compared to  keeping it simple with black socks.

Note: There is nothing wrong with keeping it simple.  

That's enough rules to start with. Quick and simple If you take nothing else away from today just look at the pictures and PLEASE DO NOT MAKE THIS MISTAKE. As always...
